Do you want to rejuvenate your Jacksonville concrete floors on a budget?
Concrete staining is the perfect option if you are looking for a long lasting decorative option for your floors that will not break the bank.
Acid stains are translucent, penetrating stains that slightly etch and permanently change the color of the concrete by reacting chemically with the hydrated lime in the concrete.
Concrete acid staining can be used on residential and commercial concrete floors, both outdoor and indoor, to create an array of colors and effects.
Our acid stains are designed, not only to add color to your Jacksonville concrete floors, but to infuse them with rich, deep and translucent earth tones.
Because all concrete is different in composition, age and location, no two acid stained floors will ever have the same colors, shade or look.
Our concrete stained floors are protected with a high-performance UV stable topcoat that protects the floors from wear and tear. This makes it ideal for residential use on driveways, walkways, pathways and also for use in commercial shops, bars, restaurants and more.
With its permanent color, concrete stain offers a distinctive approach to improving the appearance of your concrete floor. It also has a quick turnaround time, is inexpensive and easy to maintain.
Concrete stain penetrates deep into the concrete, preventing it from wearing out, chipping, fading, or discoloring over time.
The surface is resistant to UV light, moisture, damage and heat.
With a short turnaround time, we can complete your acid-stained floor quick smart, leaving you with a low maintenance, beautiful looking finish.
Like other smooth, non-porous surfaces, stained concrete floors are easy to clean and maintain. Allergens, such as dirt, dust mites, and pollen, will not be able to penetrate it. A mop and a bucket is all you will need.
We offer a variety of concrete stain colors that will enhance the look, not only of your concrete but interior too.
Concrete acid staining is a great way to rejuvenate any dull and tired looking concrete surface.
In order for the stain to react with the concrete surface, the concrete has to be cleaned to remove any old paint, oils, stains, dirt and grime.
Depending on the age and the condition of the concrete we either pressure wash the floor or grind the top layer to remove any deep stains or old coatings.
Once the concrete is clean and the concrete pores are opened for the stain to penetrate, we perform a color test on a small area of concrete. This is to see how the acid stain reacts with the concrete surface and what the final color looks like.
We then mask shapes on the floor and spray the acid stain. Once the stain is applied we leave it to do its magic. We may have to repeat this step until we reach the desired color.
Once the stain has fully dried we apply a protective UV stable polyaspartic topcoat to protect the surface from damage and wear and tear.
Please note that once the stain is applied it becomes a permanent feature of the concrete.
